Gullane Village Hall is a thriving community facility, run by volunteers for the benefit of the whole village. There are various ways you can support the hall and help to ensure it continues to be a resource everyone in the village can use.

Become a friend of the hall

In recent years, lots has been done to upgrade the hall, including modernising the entrance hall, main hall, small hall, and toilets; installing a new lighting system; improving accessibility; installing solar panels and a sustainable heating system. There’s still a lot more we would like to do with your help.

Could you be a Friend of Gullane Village Hall and give a regular contribution with Gift Aid?  A regular contribution of £20 or £50 per year - or more if you can - would make a big difference in supporting Village Hall development projects.

To find out more about becoming a friend of Gullane Village Hall, download our leaflet below, or contact Eric Thomson, Trustee, on 01620 843208.

Join our skills list

If you could help with communications, admin or repairs and DIY, why not add your name to the hall's Skills List to help out occasionally? If you'd be willing to help, please email gullanevillagehallbookings@gmail.com.

Organise a fundraising event for the hall

Some of the regular big events in the hall, including the annual Apple Festival, the Gullane pantomine and the Hogmanay Ceilidh are all organised by villagers as fundraising events for the hall. All profits from these events go to support the hall's upkeep and development. If you'd be interested in organising a fundraiser for the hall, we'd love to hear from you! Please email gullanevillagehallbookings@gmail.com.
