"To manage and operate the sustained use of the Village Hall for the benefit of the residents of Gullane and the surrounding areas including it's use for meetings, lectures, classes, presentations, demonstrations, exhibitions, theatrical, musical and cinematic performances, and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation, without discrimination based on gender, age, disability, ethnic background, political opinions, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or any other distinction, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said residents."
