Green grant for the village hall

A major grant has been awarded to the village hall to install a renewable energy heating system.

Viridor Credits Environmental Company has approved an application for the project and awarded the trustees £35,592.

Viridor Credits is a not-for-profit organisation which provides funding for community, heritage and biodiversity projects in Scotland from the Scottish Landfill Communities Fund.

A big thank you to the 120 Gullane residents who signed their support to the funding application. This supporting petition was a deciding factor in approval of the grant.
